Everyone knows one of the top desserts to bring to a function is banana pudding. There are two types of banana pudding: baked and refrigerated. I do not make the old school baked banana pudding. Honestly, I haven’t even tired to make an old school baked banana pudding. But… I have MASTERED making a bomb banana pudding which I’ve perfected over the last decade. It’s a family favorite and it’ll have your folks fighting for the last corner.

Smoke’s Famous Banana Pudding
Equipment
- 1 13"x9" aluminum pan with lid
- 1 whisk
- 1 large bowl
- 1 spoon
Ingredients
- 14 oz Condensed Milk Eagle Brand
- 8 oz Whipped Cream Cool Whip Brand
- 10-12 oz Water Use the condensed milk can for approximate measurement.
- 3 thinly sliced bananas Use ripe bananas
- 1 box banana cream pudding mix Jello brand
- 2 boxes of vanilla wafer cookies Nilla Wafers Nabisco Brand
Instructions
- Add condensed milk and water to a bowl and mix with a whisk.
- Add pudding mix to bowl and whisk.
- Add the whipped cream to the bowl and whisk until consistently smooth.
- Add an even layer of cookies to the bottom of pan
- Add a layer of sliced bananas to the pan. Use half of your sliced bananas.
- With the spoon, add layer of half of the pudding mixture evenly to the pan.
- Repeat steps 4-6
- Add one additional layer of cookies on the top.
- Add lid to the pan and refrigerate for 3-4 hours before serving.
